The Wellness Ambassador Program empowers students to promote mental wellness, reduce stigma, and build a culture of care on campus. Student ambassadors—selected for empathy, responsibility, and leadership—receive training in mental health awareness, active listening, stress management, and knowing when to seek adult help. They lead peer check-ins, wellness workshops, and awareness campaigns that encourage healthy coping and open conversations about emotional well-being. In partnership with counselors and teachers, ambassadors connect peers to resources, maintain safe spaces, and help normalize discussions around mental health. The program includes ongoing training, surveys, reflection journals, and recognition events to sustain engagement and ensure adult oversight for all high-risk concerns.
